Interface Engineering Promotes Chesley to
Associate Principal

David ChesleyPortland, Oregon - David Chesley started his career with Interface in 1993 and his hard work and leadership skills have recently earned him the title of Associate Principal. “David’s leadership abilities and excellent client and staff relations have merited this promotion,” says David Pickett, Interface’s Senior Vice President. “We are proud to have David as part of the Principal group,” continues Mr. Pickett.

David is a registered Professional Engineer, a low-voltage RCDD and a LEED Accredited professional. With 350 projects to his name, David has become a mentor to junior staff and an invaluable asset to Interface. “I thrive on the challenges unique to each design and enjoy helping clients realize their vision of what their projects can be,” comments Mr. Chesley. He has a deep commitment to sustainable practices and, whenever possible, applies that practice to each project he oversees, always with cost effectiveness in mind. David is currently applying his skills as Project Manager to the design of the first energy-negative public building in the country, Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center [LEED Platinum Goal] in Vancouver, Washington. He was also a major contributor on the design team for of The Center for Health & Healing at OHSU [LEED Platinum].
