Interface Promotes Staff to Associate Principals,
Associates
Portland, OR - Interface Engineering,
a full service mechanical and electrical consulting
firm, recently announced the promotion of many of
its staff members. “These promotions represent
a big step toward building the future of Interface
Engineering by recognizing those who are major contributors
to our work, our clients and our culture. I hope that,
within this list, I have named my future replacement
and those of my fellow Interface partners,”
says Interface President, Omid Nabipoor. “This
is yet another step in empowering our talented staff
to serve our clients better and to improve Interface
Engineering as a firm,” continues Mr. Nabipoor.
Joining the Interface Principal and Partner team
are:
- Steve Dacus, PE, Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing
in energy design, commissioning and sustainable
strategies;
- Doug Smith, PE, LEED AP, Senior Mechanical Engineer
leading the Washington mechanical design team from
the Kirkland office; and
- Dave Williams, PE, LEED AP, Senior Mechanical
Engineer most recently an Associate with DuPont
Engineering and a team leader with Interface’s
Health Care Design Group.
Several others have been promoted to Associate.
These individuals currently lead teams, are senior
engineers or senior designers at Interface. They are:
- Steve Kelly, RCDD, Senior Technology Designer.
Steve heads up the Technology Design Group;
- Duane Monroe, PE, LEED AP, Senior Mechanical
Engineer, a senior staff member with Interface’s
Health Care Design Group;
- Kenton Aikens, PE, a Senior Engineer in the Fire/Life
Safety Design Group, specializes in all fire/life
safety systems;
- Mark Jackson is a Senior Electrical Designer,
has lead Interface’s retail team for nearly
ten years;
- Scott Holum, CPD, a Senior Mechanical Designer
in Interface’s plumbing design group and a
Certified Medical Gas Inspector, and has been with
Interface since 1978;
- Brian Butler, PE, LEED AP, a Senior Mechanical
Engineer and team leader;
- Andrew Lasse, PE, a Senior Mechanical Engineer
and team leader;
- Dennis Obritschkewitsch, a Senior Electrical
Designer and Interface employee since 1975, has
extensive international experience with Interface
and travels on behalf of the firm evaluating future
and current projects.
- Kevin Duell, PE, LEED AP, a Senior Mechanical
Engineer and team leader;
- Melissa Crosman, CPSM, leads Interface’s
Marketing team. Melissa was nominated for Marketer
of the Year in 2006 by the Society for Marketing
Professional Services, Oregon Chapter;
- Kathleen Roach, CET, CFPS, a Senior Designer,
leads Interface’s Fire/Life Safety Design
Group and specializes in design of fire protection
systems;
- Becky Ellsworth, PE a Senior Electrical Engineer
and team leader;
- Ken Spencer, PE, LEED AP, a Senior Electrical
Engineer and team leader. Ken also holds an MBA.
- Chris Larson, LEED AP a Senior Electrical Designer
and team leader.
