Educational Engineering Projects

George W. Bush Elementary School
Stockton, CA
This project will involve construction of a new
elementary school facility, with four build-to-suit
buildings and four modular construction buildings.
The first building will contain 10,500 SF, with
six classrooms, other special-purpose rooms, and
a library at the core of the building. The
second building is similar in size and scope to
the first, except that the building core will
contain a media center with a separate studio
control room. The third building will be
just under 10,000 SF and will contain multi-purpose
areas, a staff dining room, a fully-sprinklered
stage, storage and janitor's rooms, and a full
service kitchen. The fourth building is
expected to contain approximately 4,800 SF and
consist of two kindergarten classrooms and the
administration office. The modular buildings
will contain two classrooms each. Interface
is providing heating, ventilating, and air conditioning
(HVAC), plumbing, fire sprinkler and fire alarm,
site and building power distribution, lighting,
meter clock, and classroom intercommunication
and data systems design for this project.
