Health Care Engineering Projects
We have a long history of working with leading healthcare organizations in the development of new facilities and the upgrades needed over time at existing locations.
For Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU), a major teaching hospital, we have completed designs for several projects, like the Physicians Pavillion housing doctors' offices and the Record Review department. We are currently designing mechanical, electrical, and technology systems for the new 350,000 SF OHSU Medical Office Building in Portland. We have worked on major healthcare facilities in Sacramento, including Methodist Hospital and UC Davis Medical Center. In Oregon, our work includes West Valley Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center, as well as numerous clinics, outpatient surgery centers and medical office buildings.
With our engineers having career interests and long experience in the specialized healthcare field, as well as Certified Medical Gas Inspectors on staff, we are equipped with the specialty knowledge needed to design for the systems specific to healthcare facilities, and are knowledgeable about using natural light and radiant heating to create optimal patient comfort.
