Retail Engineering Projects
The teams at Interface have designed systems for virtually all types of retail outlets. From lighting design to highlight merchandise to kitchen ventilation to grocery store refrigeration systems, our designers have experience in creating solutions for each type of facility.
For grocery chain stores, like Safeway, Winco, Raley's and Fred Meyer, we have worked with the owners, contractors, and design teams to develop standards for company-wide use, as well as designed systems for individual stores, which each have their own requirements depending on location and jurisdiction.
When working with restaurants, either individual locations or chains, like McCormick & Schmick’s, Henry's 12th Street Tavern, and the Old Spaghetti Factory, our designers have the tools to design for the specialty exhaust and plumbing issues necessary in a commercial kitchen.
In addition to the traditional retail outlet projects, we are currently involved in the Streets of Tanasbourne development in Hillsboro, a mixed-use development including public spaces, retail outlets, and offices, and in concourse retail improvements at the Portland International Airport, with stringent requirements for safety and security.
Each type of project presents its own challenges, and each owner comes to the table with company standards to be met. Our goal is always to meet their budget and schedule requirements, address the particular challenges of each project, and strive to exceed their expectations. |
